Israel Antonio is grateful to join the Tellin’ Tales Theatre ensemble. As a solo performer he has written and performed in Divercity 2017 and 2018. He has performed various solo pieces as a representative of Tellin’ Tales at the Chicago Public Library’s celebration of International Persons with Disability Day and at Allstate for their employees. Acting credits include Sydney in Griffin Theatre’s Jeff Recommended production of For Services Rendered and Greg in Open Space Theatre’s production of Bleacher Bums. As a playwright, his work has appeared at Steppenwolf Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, and Prop Thtr. Israel is an avid runner and came be found running the Chicago lakefront frequently as he trains for marathons and triathlons.
